Eastview Neighborhood

Eastview is a neighborhood in east Saint Paul, Minnesota, just to the north of the Mississippi River and Interstate 94/U.S. Highway 12. Other significant roadways in the area include White Bear Avenue North, Third Street East, Minnehaha Avenue East, Ruth Street North, and Johnson Parkway. Surrounding communities include Conway, Parkway – Greenbrier, and Western Hazel Park. The zip code for this Ramsey County community is 55106.

The East View Playground can be found within neighborhood bounds, and most of the neighboring communities have community parks or playgrounds as well. If you and your children would prefer more wide-open spaces, the Twin Cities area is know for its many lakes and ample parkland.

Among the lakes in the area are Beaver Lake and Lake Phalen/Phalen Park, both situated within a few miles north of Eastview. There are also four golf courses within five miles to the north – Keller Golf Course, Goodrich Golf Course, Hillcrest Golf Club, and Phalen Park Golf Course.

Immediately to the south, on the other side of I-94, is the river, Pigs Eye Lake, and Municipal Forest land. Here is also where you’ll find the Saint Paul Downtown Holman Field.

Downtown Saint Paul is within 10 minutes to the west of Eastview. Here, you’ll find a variety of cultural and historic attractions along the riverbed. Among them are the Minnesota State Capitol and Minnesota Supreme Court. Scattered among a few prominent medical centers, you’ll also find the Science Museum of Minnesota, Minnesota History Center, Xcel Energy Center, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and Landmark Center.
