Hamline University is within the neighborhood bounds, and Concordia University is just outside the neighborhood to the south, on the other side of I-94. Slightly northwest of Hamline-Midway are the larger University of Minnesota-St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses.

Another feature of the Hamline-Midway neighborhood is the Midway Marketplace. Although technically outside the neighborhood bounds, this retail area borders the community on the south, offering residents easy access to the necessities. Here, you’ll find a Wal-Mart, Target, Borders, UPS Store, and Herberger’s, among other shopping and dining options.

This is just the beginning of all that the Hamline-Midway neighborhood has to offer. All the college campuses in the area mean there is no shortage of culture and entertainment nearby, as well as plenty of places to grab a bite or do some shopping.
