Lakeview Terraced Neighborhood
The Lakeview Terrace neighborhood is a large mobile home park in Kansas City, Missouri. It is bound to the east by Arrowhead Trafficway/US 169 Highway, and to the south by I-29.
A short drive east on North West Englewood Road is a large HyVee grocery store, and a bit further away sits a Sam’s Club. Gordman’s Department Store, a 24 Hour Fitness Center, and a bowling alley are also in the immediate area.
Worlds of Fun is just a short drive to the east. Also close by to the west are the Kansas International Speedway and a large shopping complex with a Cabela’s as its centerpiece.
For outdoor recreation there are several parks, lakes,and golf courses nearby. The largest outdoor area is Smithville Lake and Recreation area. This huge lake and park offer boating, fishing, public golf courses, a waterfowl refuge, and even an area for public hunting.
Aside from the several disc golf courses in the area, both Pleasant Valley and Liberty Golf Courses are not far away.
Historic attractions are the Jesse James Farms and Museum, located just a short drive east, in Kearney and the Jesse James Bank in Liberty.
Several colleges and universities are in the area. Maple Woods Community College is closest to Lakeview, sitting just to the north of Lakeview Terrace. The University of Missouri has an outreach and extension center nearby and Sanford Brown is a short distance to the south and east.
The casinos along the Missouri River are also a popular attraction and an easy drive from Lakeview Terrace. The neighborhood is also conveniently located to the Kansas City International Airport, about five miles away.
Sports fans live in close proximity to both the Kansas City Royals, a Major League Baseball team, and the Kansas City Chiefs, a National League Football team.
