Park Plaza Neighborhood

Park Plaza is a pleasant suburban neighborhood located in Kansas City, Missouri. The neighborhood is in a beautiful part of the city. It is a heavily wooded community with plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. There aren’t many distractions around the neighborhood, making it great for those who love peace and quiet. A lot of needs can be met within the community, but for others, residents need to travel into downtown Kansas City, which isn’t too far away. This family-friendly neighborhood is close to a number of schools. For residents in search of a place of worship, there are a few good churches in the area.

Lakes near the Park Plaza neighborhood provide residents with several different types of fun activities. They are great for fishing. Many visitors use jet skis on the water. The lakes are a great place for people in the area to relax on a hot summer day.

There may not be any large shopping malls in the immediate area, but Park Plaza residents find that most of their needs are easily met by going to one of the shopping centers outside the boundaries of the neighborhood. Hen House is a medium-sized grocery store in the area. It is the most convenient place for residents to go grocery shopping and stocks a lot of major-brand products. Radio Shack is a great store for many different electrical needs. Park Plaza residents have a number of options when it comes to informal dining. Among area restaurants are IHOP, the Bonefish Grill, and Quiznos.
