Union Hill Neighborhood

Terraced yards with mature shade trees and sidewalks line the streets of Union Hill, located in Kansas City, Missouri. Penn Valley Park is a short walk from the Union Hill neighborhood. The National World War One Museum at Liberty Memorial is a short stroll from Union Hill and offers the largest display of World War I relics in the country.

Residents of Union Hill can walk to the University of Central Missouri, home of a number of distinguished alumni. The heart of downtown Kansas City is just three minutes from the neighborhood. Theaters, fine dining, and shopping, as well as historical sites, offer a day filled with adventure. Union Station, a restored railway express building, portrays its rich cultural heritage in the 95-foot ceiling in the Grand Hall, which is decorated with sparkling chandeliers and various motifs.

Union Hill residents have only a short trip to the nearby Crown Center Complex, where they can enjoy unique shops and boutiques. The Hallmark Visitor Center conducts tours showing how the company makes its merchandise. Level three of the Crown Center Complex houses the American Heartland Theatre, home to live Broadway shows.
