Longview Neighborhood

Longview is a well-established community featuring flawless landscaping and wide sidewalks throughout. This neighborhood is located two miles away from Longview Lake, and close to Highway 50. The community is located 30 minutes south of downtown Kansas City, Missouri via Highway 71.

The Longview Lake Park is located off I-470, and is the area for many city attractions such as summer concerts and Christmas in the Park. Some of the features of this park are the Fred Arbanas Golf Course, two picnic shelters, fishing docks, fishing pond, beach, family picnic area, nature trails for walking, and biking. There is also a dog training area, model airplane field, and horse park. The park is open year round, and is free for all residents.

Another popular attraction is Aaron’s Family Fun Center Bowling Alley, featuring thirty-two lanes of bowling. Not only does Aaron’s offer bowling fun, but also leagues, and birthday parties. Inside of the bowling alley there is Den restaurant, the In the Zone Pro Shop, and an arcade. Aaron’s Family Fun Center is open year round, and people can call to find out open bowling schedules.

John Anderson Splash Park has just recently been reinvented with new additions where children can play and splash around in puddles and sprays of water. Water shoots out of the ground, and there are hoses children can use to spray each other, as well as other equipment to play on. This is free to all residents to enjoy during the warmer months.

Longview is located near the lake, area parks, and great family entertainment activities, with easy access to the larger metro area for more attractions and amenities.
