Carondelet Neighborhood

Bordering just west of the mighty Mississippi River in St. Louis is the neighborhood of Carondelet. This subdivision not only has this historic river as a neighbor to its east, but its location is convenient for families who commute to work; Carondelet is less than two miles from the Interstate 55. East Carondelet is across the river from Carondelet, with the neighborhood of Patch to the south. It is considered to be in the far southeastern section of the City of St. Louis.

Children who live in Carondelet reside in the St. Louis City Public School District. Woodward Elementary or Blow Middle School, which has both elementary- and intermediate-level students, and Paideia Academy-Carondelet are all possible choices. Older students can attend Carnahan High School.

Those looking for shopping options in the area are presented with no fewer than three shopping centers to choose from, all within seven miles of Carondelet. South County Center Mall is the closest, while the St. Louis Galleria and Crestwood Court are only two miles farther away. There are also numerous retail stores around the subdivision, including Lowes and Burlington Coat Factory.

Fans of green space will love the fact that Carondelet has three gorgeous parks within two miles of the neighborhood. Carondelet Park is in the neighborhood and is known as one of the best parks in St. Louis. Tower Grove and Willmore Park are the other two parks nearby. There are numerous other attractions to see around the Carondelet area, as well. Among them are the St. Louis Arch and the Anheuser Busch Factory.
