Hamilton Heights Neighborhood

Hamilton Heights is a family community located near Forest Park which has a vast variety of activities for everyone. The 1,371 acres park is one of the largest parks in the United States. The residents of Hamilton Heights have close access to golf, tennis, summer concerts, hay rides, touch football, softball and kickball leagues, and handball. Steinberg Skating Park has summer and winter skating. The World’s Fair Pavilion is also used for private receptions, company picnics, and many special events.

Hamilton Heights is within zip code 63112 and is contained by Martin Luther King Drive on the east, N Kingshighway Boulevard on the south, N Skinker Boulevard on the north and Page Boulevard on the west. The St. Louis Zoo located in Forest Park has the “River’s Edge” which is a walk in the wild where elephants play and cheetahs run, “The Wild” exhibits animals from the sub-Antarctic, animals from a tropical rain forest, and a Discovery Center which has friendly animals and amphibians. The “Muny” is an outdoor Musical Theater that is in Forest Park and presents many popular musicals.

The Missouri History Museum is also located in Forest Park and provides the community with family tours, Girl Scout and Cub Scout programs, early childhood group visits, story telling, make and take workshops, genealogy programs, family tours, and many other historical discoveries. An Art Museum, the “Shakespeare Theater” and the “Jewel Box,” a garden of hundreds of flowers are other attractions found in Forest Park.
