Vandeventer is a neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri, that lies within the 63108 and the 63113 zip codes. With an area of 0.602 square miles and a population of about 2,200 residents, the community is moderately populated.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive serves as the northern border of Vandeventer, while Delmar Boulevard is its southern border. North Newstead Avenue is the western border of the community, and North Vandeventer Avenue serves as its eastern border.

About 40 percent of the homes in Vandeventer are single-family, detached houses of varying styles. Approximately 20 percent of the housing units consist of apartment and condo buildings. There are also townhouses and attached homes.

Those who are eco-minded might be attracted to the neighborhood’s tree-lined streets and sidewalks, which make it easy to navigate on foot. Public transportation is plentiful, with many bus stops running along East Page Boulevard, North Sarah Street, and other routes.

Turner Park is inside the neighborhood, and Beckett Park is only a half-mile northwest. It has a playground, open parkland, picnic tables, a spray pool, and drinking fountains.

The neighborhood’s prime location near many colleges makes it popular among young adults. Ranken Technical College is a half-mile northwest. St. Louis University is less than a mile south. Clyde Miller Career Academy, St. Francis Xavier College Church, and the Douglas Frederick Institute are within a one-mile radius of the neighborhood.

The Triple A Golf and Tennis Club is nearby. The Forest Park Golf Course is also close to the community. Several wealthier residents are members of both golf clubs.
