The Rountree neighborhood is located near downtown Springfield, Missouri. It is a fantastic location for anyone seeking a college education. The Rountree Neighborhood Rain Garden Project was developed to take care of a run-off problem. The five gardens beautify the areas they occupy while solving another problem. Rountree is one of only three neighborhoods that are currently considered Urban Conservation Districts, allowing them to identify and solve problems within their own neighborhood. The Rountree Neighborhood Association established a neighborhood watch program to help control any problems in the area.
