South Valley Ranch Neighborhood

South Valley Ranch is a master-planned community with over 850 single-detached family homes and the South Valley Ranch Apartments.

While being a family-friendly neighborhood away from the tourist-driven atmosphere of Las Vegas, South Valley Ranch is still about 20 minutes away from all the action around the Las Vegas Strip. It features the Rodeo Park, a sports and recreation area located in the heart of the community. This pet-friendly park is owned and maintained by the City of Henderson, the sister city of Las Vegas where South Valley Ranch is situated. It features a large grassy area for hanging out and picnicking, a jogging path, a biking path, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, a softball field, barbecue pavilions, and a kids’ play area. It is also near other Henderson parks including the Silver Bowl Park, Wells Park, and Whitney Park.

South Valley Ranch homes and apartments have easy access to a number of shopping, dining, and other commercial establishments via its eastern border of the Boulder Highway. As a part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area, South Valley Ranch keeps up with the Las Vegas image of being a home to top hotel and lodging spots, casinos, and restaurants.

The nearest hotels and casinos around South Valley Ranch are mostly found along the North Boulder Highway and West Sunset Road, like the Klondlike Sunset Casino, Sky Motel, Ingle’s Motel, and Holiday Inn Henderson.

Most of the nearest restaurants around the area are also located along North Boulder Highway like Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits, Subway, Pizza Hut, Sizzler, Rum Runner Las Vegas, and Elyse McCrackin Restaurant.
