Anthem Neighborhood

Located 800 feet above the Black Mountains in Henderson, Anthem is a major planned community created by Del Webb in 2008. It’s an active retirement community for people 55 and older. Bordered by a loop made up of Sun City Anthem Drive on the west and Anthem Parkway on the east, the Anthem community provides stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip along with plenty of stimulating activities for seniors.

There are nearly 7,200 single-family homes within the gated community, catering to upscale retirees who wish to remain active. The heart of the neighborhood is the Anthem Center, a 77,000-square-foot recreation center that includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sp and fitness center and tennis, basketball, racquetball and other sports courts.

Anthem also appeals to golfers thanks to the two 18-hole golf courses at the Revere Golf Club. Designed by legendary golfer Billy Casper, the two courses are challenging courses which are true desert links style layouts that incorporate the canyons and valleys of the area. The course also has a clubhouse with a driving range, pro shop and restaurant offering up drinks and a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

One of the advantages of living in the Anthem planned community is the wide range of activities which are available to residents. There are many different clubs available to residents. People who want to stay fit can take part in fitness or yoga classes or play in leagues dedicated to sports like bocce ball and softball. There are also many arts and crafts groups in Anthem for people who enjoy activities including knitting, ceramics, music, or ballroom dance.
