West Sahara houses non-Strip Las Vegas hotels and lodges like the Palace Station Hotel and Casino, Courtyard Hotel Rooms, and La Quinta Inns and Suites. These hotels provide more localized options for those seeking refuge outside the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, yet are only about 10 miles away from this tourist stretch.
Favorite restaurants around West Sahara include Mad Matty’s Bar and Grille, Feast Buffet, the Broiler, Pasta Palace, Food Express Chinese Restaurant, Hash House A Go Go, and Cabo Mexican Restaurant. Popular bars and pubs in the area include Big Dog’s, Chicago Brewing Company, and Red Room.
West Sahara is home to the Las Vegas medical facilities Kindred Hospital Las Vegas, Action Medical Center, and Vision Source. It also hosts the Sahara West Library, where residents can take advantage of facilities like a computer center, a 150-seat multi-purpose room, a 45-seat boardroom, a 35-seat meeting room, a story-time room, a gallery, and a used bookstore.
