Keyport, NJ Apartments for Rent

Keyport is a postcard-pretty seaside borough, located on Raritan Bay in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It is a community defined by tree-lined streets, historical architecture, and a charming fun-filled downtown. Keyport is known as the “Pearl of the Bayshore” and the maritime influence permeates the community.

Originally settled in 1714, Keyport’s long history is celebrated at the Steamboat Dock Museum and Keyport Fire Museum. Displays in the Steamboat Dock Museum include Keyport’s important role in steamboat building and the oyster industry. The Keyport Fire Museum is Monmouth County’s only fire museum with artifacts dating from the 19th century. It also contains a section of steel from the World Trade Center twin towers.

The area is very pedestrian-friendly, and ferries are available to take residents and visitors to New York City.
