The house is located at the back of a multi-unit property, and is a charming, quiet place with friendly neighbors. Driving into a shaded carport, the house opens up into an open plan living room/kitchen, with a laundry area conveniently located by the door. The kitchen and bathroom have been newly remodeled with a custom countertop, new floors and new stainless steel appliances. There is plenty of storage inside of the house with a hallway cabinet and large bathroom pantry, as well as a large watertight storage unit behind the carport for convenient access. The cottage is warm and cozy in the winter with a gas heater in the living room, and cool and open in the summer. There is a small fenced in yard behind the house. The property is about 30 min away from Los Alamos, Santa Fe and Taos. It is a peaceful area, part of gated compound with other homes and long-term neighbors. All utilities including city water, trash, reasonable electricity and gas are charged at a flat rate of $300/month (includes heating), paid in addition to the rent, which brings the total monthly payment to $1950/mo. Looking for long term tenant (no exceptions) with a minimum 1 year lease lease. Can accommodate one small well behaved quiet pet maximum with additional pet fee of $25/mo. No pitbulls, large or loud dogs (no exceptions). There is no smoking allowed on the property, even outside. Maximum three people allowed. Upon signup last month’s rent, security deposit of $1500 is due. An application with a credit check is also required. A payment plan can be setup if needed for these signup fees.
