Kenfield Neighborhood

Kenfield is a neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. It is bordered to the north by Weston Avenue, to the south by Easton Avenue, and to the east by Hazelwood Avenue.

One of the benefits of this area is that many schools are within walking distance. Three schools located within a third of a mile from Kenfield serve students of all grade levels. PS 82 is a public school that serves grades K through 4, while Charles Grandison Finney High School is a private school for students in grades 9 through 12. Frederick Olmstead #56 is a magnet school that serves grades 5 through 9.

Where there are schools, it would only make sense to have libraries. The East Delevan Branch Library is located on East Delevan Avenue less than half a mile from Kenfield.

There are plenty of options for parents who want a quick dinner, or students who are hungry after studying all day. Louie’s Texas Red Hots, Fat Boy Steak Out, and Carribean Experience are all located just a quick walk from school or home.

Several retailers and shops are located nearby as well. Apple Imprints is a T-shirt and clothing store on Bailey Avenue. A to Z Fashion and the Mikilyia Boutique are located less than a mile from Kenfield.

Roosevelt Playground, the nearest park, is about a half mile away. It has a little something for everyone, including basketball courts, picnic areas, and open spaces. Other parks in the area include Schiller and Dewey Playground.
