Susan B Anthony Neighborhood

The Susan B. Anthony neighborhood is located in Monroe County, Rochester, New York, in the 14608 zip code. This historic urban neighborhood was once home to suffragist Susan B. Anthony, and is now a preservation district on the National Registry of Historic Places. Consisting of single-family homes and apartments, the Susan B. Anthony neighborhood is bordered by Jefferson Avenue to the west, Interstate 490 to the north, West broad Street to the east, and West Main Street to the south.

The Susan B. Anthony neighborhood is located on a bus route, is pedestrian friendly, with sidewalks, and is within walking distance of downtown Rochester. Residents can join the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association. Public schools in the area include School 4-George Mather Forbes, School 2-Clara Barton, Monroe Middle School, Madison High School, and Thomas Jefferson High School. Universities in the area include the University of Rochester, Monroe Community College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Saint John Fisher College.

Golf Courses and Clubs in the area include Oak Hill Country Club, Shadow Pines Golf Club, Country Club of Rochester, and Locust Hill Country Club, where the Wegmans LPGA Tournament is played annually.
