Upper Falls Neighborhood

Home to the High Falls Brewing Company, the urban neighborhood of Upper Falls is located in Monroe County, Rochester, New York in zip code 14605. The culturally diverse community of Upper Falls is pedestrian friendly with sidewalks and is on a public transportation route. Consisting of single-family homes and apartments, the Upper Falls neighborhood is bordered by Clifford Avenue to the north, Portland Avenue to the east, the Inner Loop to the south and the Genesee River to the west.

Universities in the area include Monroe Community College, University of Rochester, Saint John Fisher College and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Golf lovers will enjoy the variety of golf courses and golf clubs in the area such as Genesee Valley Golf Course, Locust Hill Country Club, Oak Hill Country Club and Country Club of Rochester. There are many parks in the area such as Highland Park, home to the popular Lilac Festival every spring. Anthony House, Seneca Park Zoo and Rochester Broadway Theatre. Frontier Field is just five minutes away and is the home of the Rochester Redwings baseball team. Paetec Park is also five minutes away from the Upper Falls neighborhood and is home to the Rochester Rhinos soccer team. Nearby Blue Cross Arena hosts Rochester Americans hockey games as well as many other venues throughout the year.
