Eastwood Neighborhood
Three miles northeast of downtown Syracuse, you’ll find the charming community of Eastwood. Nicknamed “The Village within the City,” Eastwood is a walkable neighborhood with a quaint downtown area filled with shops and restaurants. The Historic Palace Theatre was built here in 1924. Recently restored, this beautiful landmark is a community gathering place and popular movie theater.
Eastwood’s convenient location places residents three miles northeast of Syracuse University and two miles northwest of Le Moyne University. Syracuse Hancock International Airport is just three miles north. This close-knit community features several annual events, including an Autumn Run. Although Eastwood was annexed by Syracuse in 1926, it retains its friendly village feel.
