Fairmount is only three miles from the Geddes Athletic Fields. Located at Grand Avenue and Fay Road, these fields include facilities for baseball, football, and soccer. A few more blocks east is the large Burnett Park off Grand Avenue. The park has a community swimming pool, athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts, and playground. It also is home to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
