Oxford, NC Apartments for Rent

A beautiful town with tree-lined, shady streets and a healthy dose of old-fashioned Southern charm, Oxford North Carolina lies roughly 28 miles northeast of Durham and 40 miles north of Raleigh.

Commuting into the Triangle is easy with several nearby highways and I-85. Oxford is located just north of Research Triangle Park. Settlers first came to the area in the 19th century to work for Bright Tobacco, and the town grew even larger after WWII. But Oxford is still considered small, with less than 10,000 residents.

Nearby Kerr Lake is surrounded by parks. This large lake is popular with locals, who enjoy fishing and boating here. Jet skiing, camping, sailing, and tubing are also popular. Oxford is home to Lake Devin, another fishing hotspot. The several other parks in Oxford contain a pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, ball fields, and a recreation complex.

Whether you want to be near museums, shopping, art galleries, or universities, Oxford is centrally located to it all.
