Crosswoods Neighborhood

Crosswoods is located is located north of downtown Columbus. This gated neighborhood is predominately a residential area. The houses are all single family and are all newer homes.

This community is lush with mature oak trees and the streets are lined neatly with bushes. There is a park within the neighborhood for residents and a community pool for residents to use exclusively.

Crosswoods is a few minutes from York Temple Country Club Golf Course. This private golf club has 18 holes of challenging golf for its members. The membership for this country club is discounted for residents of Columbus and is exclusive for members only. This country club has a large club house with a dining hall for lunch and dinner. The dining hall also takes reservations for weddings and large parties throughout the year. There is another golf course near Crosswoods also, Worthington Hills Country Club. This country club is also a private golf course for members only.

There are two major shopping spots for residents of Crosswoods, Olentangy Valley Shopping Centre and Worthington Square Shopping Center. Both of these shopping centers offer department store and grocery store shopping for its residents. Each one of these shopping centers has small shopping boutiques also.

Sharon Woods Metropolitan Park is only a few minutes from Crosswoods. This park is loaded with things for residents to do. There are miles of bike trails, jogging paths, and nature walks. Sharon Woods Metro Park also has a small lake in it and is great for novice and veteran anglers alike. This park also has several picnic pavilions and playground areas for residents to spend the afternoon. Sharon Woods Metropolitan Park also has a nature preserve and plenty of observation stations for residents to enjoy all of the wild life and vegetation. On one end of this park guests and residents can enjoy an area of sports fields like, soccer fields, baseball fields, and softball fields.
