Holt-Alkire Neighborhood

Columbus, Ohio’s Holt-Alkire neighborhood in the Grove City area is located just southwest of Interstate 270 and Big Run Park. By way of further orientation and reference, the Holt-Alkire community is framed by its namesake, Alkire Road, Big Run South Road, Interstate 270, and its other namesake, Holt Road.

Popular Columbus, Ohio landmarks, Westland Bolton Field, Bolton Field Golf Course, and Georgesville Square encircle the conveniently-located Holt-Alkire community. Oakhurst Country Club and Beulah Park provide even further recreational and social outlets and opportunities for residents of Holt-Alkire.

The Grove City community in Columbus is located to the southeast of the Holt-Alkire community, while the Columbus Southwest Airport can be found due east of the neighborhood. The intersection of major commuting and traveling thoroughfares, Interstates 270 and 71 are not too far to the east of this well-placed community, either.

Homes in Holt-Alkire are most multi-storied with vinyl siding exteriors. The residences are recently constructed just prior to 2000, modern, and traditional in design. Most have attached one or two-car garages and paved drives. Large private lots, some of them fenced, line the streets of the community.
