Minerva Park Neighborhood

Minerva Park, officially referred to as The Village of Minerva Park, is a community on the outskirts of northern Columbus, Ohio. Like most of Columbus, Minerva Park falls within Franklin County, in the 43231 zip code.

This conveniently located community sits just a few miles southeast of the intersection of Interstate 71 and Interstate 270. State Highway 161 runs past the neighborhood on the north. Highway 3 traverses the area on the east, providing a nearly direct route to downtown Columbus.

Residents of Minerva Park are situated conveniently close to a variety of area attractions and amenities. One of these is the Minerva Lake Golf Club. This par 69, 18-hole public course situated in the middle of the neighborhood is known for its rolling fairways. Built in 1931, the course challenges players of all skill levels and is open year-round from dusk to dawn.

Golfing certainly isn’t the only thing to do near Minerva Park. More than a dozen shopping centers lie within a five-mile radius of the community, providing residents with plenty of local shopping options. The largest of these are the Easton Square Shopping Center and Easton Town Center, both of which lie just a few miles southeast of the neighborhood. The Easton Town Center offers a long list of both specialty stores and big name department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom. Hotels, office spaces, and luxury rentals also occupy the center. The nearby interstates also host their fair share of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

For outdoor recreation, two city parks sit within a short drive of Minerva Park: Sharon Woods Metropolitan Park to the northwest and Blendon Woods Metropolitan Park to the east. Residents also often head south to downtown Columbus, which is less than a 25-minute drive from Minerva Park.
