Riverview Neighborhood

Riverview, in Columbus, Ohio, is bounded on the south by Ackerman Road, on the north by East North Broadway, Olentangy River Road to the east, and State Route 315 to the west. Riverview is just north of The Ohio State University and is accessible by two major highways.

The subdivision of Riverview was built in the late 1950s and the home prices are modest, with split-level and ranch homes as well as apartment and townhome rental properties. Riverview offers a diverse and family-oriented environment with OSU employees making up a large portion of the residents. There are always kids in the yard in Riverview.

If you like college sports, you’ll like the convenience of Riverview. The Horseshoe stadium is where the Ohio State Buckeyes play home games and football Saturdays are one giant celebration within walking distance of Riverview. Ohio State Men’s Basketball played at Value City Arena, 555 Borror Drive, is just off Olentangy River Road, and the OSU Hockey team also plays there.

Several colleges are convenient to Riverview. The Ohio State University is one of the largest in the country and offers degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. Capital University, at 1 College and Main, is known for its nursing and law degrees. The Columbus College of Art and Design has opportunities to turn a passion for the arts into a vocation in many areas and pursuits.
