Westworth Village is a neighborhood in the far north section of Columbus, Ohio, near the suburb of Westerville. It is approximately 13 miles directly north of downtown Columbus. It is south Park Road, north of Worthington Woods Boulevard, east of Sancus Boulevard, and west of Worthington Galena Road. Interstates 71 and 270 intersect about one mile southeast of the neighborhood. This zip code for this Franklin County community is 43085.
This primarily residential neighborhood consists of several dozen single-family homes. The surrounding roadways offer a variety of commercial options within walking distance of Westworth Village, including a grocery store, pharmacy, and several dining options. The Worthington Park Library can also be found nearby, along Worthington Centre Drive.
One of the most significant features of the Westworth Village area is the Sharon Woods Metropolitan Park, situated just east of the neighborhood, on the other side of I-71. Among the amenities here are Schrock Lake, which offers a lodge and is popular for fishing. There is also a nice playground and picnic areas. However, this city park is probably best known for its 3.8 miles of biking and walking paths, which offer a good mix of rolling areas and flat land, as well as the occasional wildlife sighting. Another popular city park, Highbanks Metropark, is situated about two miles west of the neighborhood.
A little over one mile north of Westworth Village is a popular upscale retail area, Polaris Fashion Place and Polaris Towne Center Shopping Center.
Residents of Westworth Village have the choice of at least three private golfing options within a few miles west of home; these include the Worthington Hills, York Temple, and Brookside Country Clubs. For those who can afford the membership fees, these clubs offer a variety of amenities in addition to some of the city’s finest golf courses.
