Meadowcreek Neighborhood

Meadowcreek is an Edmond, Oklahoma neighborhood. Neighborhood boundaries are West Memorial Road on the south, North Western Road on the West, and Northwest 143rd Street on the North. This northern boundary then turns south on North Walker Avenue to exclude the Glen Oaks residential area, then turns east and back north again on its other side. There, at a point even with Northwest 143rd Street, it again turns east to meet North Santa Fe Avenue.

The east, south, and west borders of Meadowcreek are home to numerous businesses. The interior roadways are residential for the most part. Residents of this neighborhood belong to its homeowner’s association.

Garden homes and patio homes with plush green lawns are commonly seen in Meadowcreek. Landscaping is meticulous, precise and quite pleasing to the eye.

Producers Playhouse is located on 142nd street in Meadowcreek. This business is known for providing large-scale video production services to this area and to the surrounding communities. Producers Playhouse has created a number of TV commercials. These include a public awareness message for a child abuse prevention campaign by former Oklahoma first lady Kathy Keating, among its many endeavors.

Outside of the convenience of a number of restaurants and other businesses located in Meadowcreek, residents have easy access to the John Kilpatrick Turnpike only moments away. The Broadway Extension Highway is also nearby, within about a five-minute drive. This makes it about a 20-minute commute to downtown Oklahoma City for Meadowcreek residents.
