May-Penn is a neighborhood in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The zip code for May-Penn is 73112. The borders of the neighborhood are North West May Street to the west and North West Pennsylvania Avenue on the east, North West 39th Street and the I-44 on the north and North West 36th Street on the south. There are no sidewalks in the neighborhood and there are plenty of trees, depending on the street.
This is a very interesting neighborhood. It is located directly south of the I-44. Many of the homes date from the 1930s and 40s. There are however some new homes. The homes are quite close together and are mostly single story with a few from the 1940s in a split-level style and homes under 10 years old much larger than the older homes. There are also lots of open space and commercial businesses closer to the I-44. North west 39th Street is almost entirely commercial.
There is a Lowes and a Wendy’s on North West May Avenue. There are not any chain grocery stores in the May-Penn neighborhood. There is a Winco Grocery Store on North Villa Avenue which is a short drive away.
