Mayfield Neighborhood

Mayfield is a neighborhood in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is in the 73159 zip code. It is located southwest of downtown Oklahoma, City. The I-44 is just to the west of this residential neighborhood. This is a newer development of single family detached family homes with flat terrain and sidewalks. The boundaries of the neighborhood are Southwest 104th Street on the south, South May Street on the east, Southwest 97th and 99th Streets on the north and the west is the I-44.

Residents who are interested in playing golf will enjoy the fact the Mayfield is adjacent to Earlywine Golf Course. This public golf course provides an affordable but challenging round of golf. There are two courses to choose from. The Lakes Course has more water features and the North Course is challenging in its terrain. In addition, Earlywine Park offers tennis, over a mile of walking/jogging trails, a playground, and plenty of open space to enjoy activities or just have a picnic. The Earlywine Aquatic Center has a seasonal pool with plenty of additional water features such as slides.

Two other parks are quite close to the neighborhood: Siler Park and Merrel Medley Park. They both offer amenities that are attractive to both adults, and children. Siler is a small four acre neighborhood park with a ball field, basketball court, and a playground. Merrel Medley is much larger and has multiple baseball and soccer fields as well as picnic areas, and almost a mile of walking trails.

Just a short drive from Mayfield, the Almonte Shopping Center has some fast food dining options with a Pizza Hut and a Subway Sandwich Shop. At the corner of Southwest 104th Street and South May Avenue, there is a Circle K grocery store and a Dollar General store.
