Meadowcliff Neighborhood

Quiet, tree-lined streets and mature landscapes make the neighborhood of Meadowcliff a peaceful refuge. Homes along the western section of the community overlook the scenic Oklahoma City College campus.

Meadowcliff encompasses zip code 73159. The community is bounded by Southwest 74th Street and the Interstate 240 Freeway on the north, South Pennsylvania Avenue on the east, Southwest 89th Street on the south, and Oklahoma City College and the Interstate 44 Freeway on the west. The area is mostly residential, although there is the college and an elementary school in the neighborhood, as well as churches, a variety of shops, service establishments and eateries.

Of the many attractive aspects of Meadowcliff is Sellars Park, which lies in the heart of the neighborhood. This user-friendly, picturesque park features a baseball field, soccer field, tennis court, playground, sprayground, swimming pool, and picnic areas. Also located in the park is the Sellers Recreation Center, which has a gym and a variety of multi-use rooms, including a dance studio.

Those who enjoy a game of golf will be glad to know that the Willow Creek Country Clubs sits just outside of the neighborhood to the north. The club’s scenic, 18-hole golf course travels through tree-filled, gently rolling hills. The club also has three lighted outdoor tennis courts and three indoor courts.

The western section of Meadowcliff is comprised of Oklahoma City College. The 143-acre campus serves more than 28,000 students each year and offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree options.

For the convenience of air travelers, Will Rogers Airport lies to the west of the neighborhood. This commercial airport is named after the comedian and cowboy Will Rogers, who was an Oklahoma native. The facility serves over 3 million travelers each year.
