Summerfield Neighborhood

Summerfield is a neighborhood in northern Oklahoma City, about 20 minutes from the downtown area. This community is located within walking distance north of Lake Hefner, near the communities of Val Verde, Avalon Woods, and Rosedale Gardens. It is south of Northwest 122nd Street and west of Highway 74. Meridian Avenue traverses the neighborhood from north to south. The ZIP code for this Oklahoma County community is 73120.

Nearby Lake Hefner is a huge attraction in northern Oklahoma City. Summerfield residents can come there to sail or fish or to run a lap around the nine-mile trail that surrounds this large lake. Adjacent to the lake on the south, still just a few miles from the neighborhood, are several popular parks that offer a variety of amenities. Residents might come to Stars and Stripes Park to have a family picnic, play a friendly softball game at Lakeshore Park, or watch their children play on the playground at Lake Hefner Park. Also adjacent to Lake Hefner on the south is an 18-hole public golf course.
