Springdale Neighborhood

Springdale is a neighborhood in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The zip code for Springdale is 73112. The boundaries of the neighborhood are Northwest 57th Street on the north, Northwest 50th Street in the south, North Meridian Avenue on the west and North Portland Avenue on the east. The homes in this neighborhood were built in the 1960s. There are several different subdivisions within the neighborhood. The majority of the homes are one-story ranchers. There are, however, some Cape Cods and other two-story styles on certain streets.

North Rotary Park is in the Springdale neighborhood. It is an 18-acre park that offers a community center, playgrounds, tennis courts and baseball and soccer fields.

Dolese Youth Park is a large park on the west border of the Springdale neighborhood. There is a 140-acre lake for fishing and the very popular disc golf course. Athletic fields, play grounds, and picnic areas add fun and fitness opportunities to the park. A two-mile unpaved trail makes hikers, bikers, joggers and walkers welcome. The family dog is also welcome as long and he is on a leash. Deaconess Hospital is also located in the Springdale neighborhood.

A short drive away from the neighborhood there is a Walmart Supercenter on Belle Isle Boulevard. There is an Old Navy and a Babies R US in the same area. There is also a Quiznos Sandwich and a Chili’s Bar and Grill. Penn Square Mall is in the same general area and is the place to go for shopping and dining in the area. Stores like Men’s Wearhouse, Williams Sonoma, The Limited, Waldenbooks and Apple Store. There is also a Cheesecake Factory and a Starbucks.
