Stone Meadows is a suburban, single-family neighborhood in far south Oklahoma City. The neighborhood is located on Southwest 149th Street between Western Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue. For families with children, Stone Meadows is served by a suburban district, Moore Public Schools.
A really unique family entertainment option within a mile of Stone Meadows is the Orr Family Farm. This sprawling facility describes itself as “agri-tainment” because it is a functioning farm that is also full of fun activities for kids and families. Activities include riding an old carousel, train rides, petting barns, fishing ponds, hay rides, and more.
For more refined tastes, the Moore Golf and Athletic Club is also under a mile from Stone Meadows. Featuring tennis, swimming, golf, and a clubhouse for community gatherings, the club is one of the centerpieces for neighborhood life in Moore.
Stone Meadows is located right on the border between Moore and Oklahoma City, meaning it is close to the booming retail corridor of I-35 in Moore. In the last decade, this stretch of the highway two miles east of Stone Meadows has seen a huge amount of construction and is now filled with some of the nation’s favorite chain retailers and restaurants. The new Warren Theater on I-35 is attracting people from all over the metro to experience watching new blockbuster movies while dining in a full-service bar and restaurant overlooking the auditorium.

To the south, I-35 leads to major employment centers in Norman, especially the University of Oklahoma and associated technology businesses. To the north, I-35 goes straight to the heart of Oklahoma City. The Downtown Oklahoma City area has about 100,000 jobs and is also another great place for entertainment and nightlife, ranging from NBA basketball to fine dining.
