Stonegate Neighborhood

The Stonegate community is situated in northwestern Oklahoma City, within Oklahoma County. Stonegate is in the 73120 zip code area and is bounded by Miller Avenue on the west, Greystone Avenue on the east, Northwest 115th Street on the north, and West Hefner Road on the south. Area communities include Camelot Estates, Camelot Bel-Aire, and Penn Park.

This largely residential neighborhood consists of modest single-family home sites situated on tree-shaded lots. A variety of commercial offerings can be found just outside of the neighborhood’s western boundary, along North May Avenue.

Schools within neighborhood bounds include Stonegate Elementary School on Northwest 112th Street, and St. Eugene Catholic School, which is situated just outside of community bounds on West Hefner Road.

Stonegate is a conveniently located neighborhood, surrounded on all sides by amenities and attractions. For outdoor recreation, community residents can choose from a variety of neighborhood parks, including North Britton Park, Meeker Park, and Quail Creek Park. Avid golfers who can afford the private membership dues may belong to the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club, situated less than one mile northwest of the neighborhood. Lake Hefner, a large lake that is bordered by several parks and a golf course, is another popular destination for outdoor recreation within a mile of Stonegate.

Stonegate residents are also within a short drive of several prominent area medical centers, including Mercy Health Center and the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. For local shopping, Stonegate residents are surrounding by convenient shopping centers, including the popular Spring Creek North Shopping Center. This is easily one of the most trafficked outdoor retail areas in the region; it is anchored by a grocery store, but offers several specialty shops, eateries, and service providers as well.
