Lake Hefner, a large lake that is bordered by several parks and a golf course, is another popular destination for outdoor recreation within a mile of Stonegate.
Stonegate residents are also within a short drive of several prominent area medical centers, including Mercy Health Center and the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. For local shopping, Stonegate residents are surrounding by convenient shopping centers, including the popular Spring Creek North Shopping Center. This is easily one of the most trafficked outdoor retail areas in the region; it is anchored by a grocery store, but offers several specialty shops, eateries, and service providers as well.
