Willow Creek Neighborhood

Willow Creek is a beautiful neighborhood in the northwest corner of Oklahoma City. Found south of Northwest 122nd Street and west of North Council Road this neighborhood is filled with short cul-de-sacs so there is no through traffic on most streets making it quiet and safe for children and pets, not only from crime but speeding cars. This neighborhood design also means that someone can easily know and trust the neighbors.

Just across the street from Willow Creek is the Oknoname 12 Reservoir, and only a bit farther away is the Oknoname 14 Reservoir, both with large open areas for children and pets. It is also close to Lake Hefner and a number of parks such as Stars and Stripes Park and Lakeshore Park. This lake is home to the Lake Hefner Golf Club, one of a few golf clubs in easy driving distance.

Helping to keep the community feel of this area there are a number of churches in the immediate area including New Hope Church, Grace Presbyterian Church and the Walnut Creek Wedding Chapel. It also has Storytime Childcare center which can be found almost directly across the street from Will Rogers elementary school, allowing a parent the ability to easily drop their children off at school on the way to work every day.

A very safe and comfortable neighborhood that has the feel of a small town while having access to all of the day-to-day needs of its residents and only minutes from the heart of Oklahoma City, this is a great location for families who need to be in the city but prefer a small town atmosphere.
