Fair Heights Neighborhood

The small Fair Heights neighborhood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is almost completely residential. Bounded by East Eleventh Street to the north, South Pittsburg Avenue on the west, East Fifteenth Street to the south, and South Yale Avenue on the east, Fair Heights sits adjacent to the Turner Park and Mid Tulsa neighborhoods on the west and east, respectively, and is situated in the 74112 ZIP code.

Baseball fans will no doubt appreciate Fair Heights’ close proximity to the 8,000 seat Drillers Stadium (AKA Robert B. Sutton Stadium), home of the Tulsa Drillers minor league baseball team, as well as annual host to one of the three Bedlam Series college games. The stadium is a part of Expo Square and the Tulsa County Fairgrounds. Expo Square is also home to the Tulsa County Free Fair and the Exposition Center.

Just on the other side of the Fairgrounds from Fair Heights is Big Splash Water Park with ten water attractions, horseshoes, volleyball, and basketball as well as seasonal special attractions and entertainment. Additional recreation can be found at nearby Braden Park.

Within walking distance from Fair Heights, the 9.4 acre Braden Park offers playground equipment, tennis courts, baseball backstop, water playground, shelter, drinking fountain, picnic tables, grills, and bathrooms. The park’s nicest feature is its large duck pond with paved walk, center island and fountains. Fishing is also permitted in the pond. Also nearby are Braden Park and Turner Park.

Just five minutes driving distance from the University of Tulsa, Fair Heights is also close to Hillcrest Medical Center as well as Leisure Lane and Hilltop Shopping Centers.
