The center features a swimming pool and gym, and offers a wide variety of programs to the community including dance, social activities, and arts and crafts.
Students in the community appreciate the close proximity of the University of Tulsa, located just outside of Maplewood to the northwest. Founded in 1894, this private educational institution offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees.
The Tulsa International Airport lies to the east of Maplewood and serves several major carriers.
