Uplands Neighborhood

Uplands is a neighborhood in Lake Oswego, Oregon in the 97034 zip code. The boundaries of the neighborhood are Southwest Country Club Road on the north, Boones Ferry Road on the west, Iron Mountain City Park on the south, and Iron Mountain Boulevard on the east. This is a hilly area of moderately sized homes on lush lots with lots of vegetation.

Uplands is located west of downtown Lake Oswego. There is public transportation available.

Iron Mountain City Park is a 49-acre passive park that offers unpaved paths that provide lots of opportunity for wildlife viewing.

Lake Oswego Hunt Club is located just a little to the south of Iron Mountain Park right outside the neighborhood. This is all about horses as the member-owned club offers lessons, boarding, and horse shows. The Hunt has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Springbrook City Park is 50 acres of green space in the middle of the Uplands neighborhood. Residents enjoy walking or hiking through the park. Dogs on a leash are welcome. There are over two miles of soft trails that pass beneath the heavy canopy provided by the maple and alder trees.

Uplands Elementary School offers classes to children in grades K-6. It has received a distinguished rating from Great Schools of 10/10. The school offers an extended day program.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is the northern border of the neighborhood. This active church has ministries for people of all ages including the handbell group and youth ministry.

Residents who want to grocery shop head to the Albertson’s on Boones Ferry Road or a little farther away to the Trader Joe’s. Between May and October every Saturday brings the Farmer’s Market to Millennium Plaza Park.
