Rosslyn Farms Neighborhood

Rosslyn Farms is a borough in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. The zip code for Rosslyn Farms is 15106. It is located five miles to the west of Pittsburgh. It is a small suburban location with easy access to downtown on Route 22. The topography is best described as rolling hills. This is a rural area and there are no sidewalks.

With less than 200 homes, this is an intimate neighborhood that has lots of community amenities. There is a swimming pool, tennis courts, and soccer fields. There is also a community center with a gym and a library.

Parrish Park is the community park for the Rosslyn Farms neighborhood. Beyond the tennis courts and the soccer fields, it also has a playground and picnic tables. There is a lot of open space, but also some beautiful mature trees.

When residents need to grocery shop, there is a Shop-n-Save in Carnegie on Washington Pike.

Chartiers Heights Country Club is a private club located just slightly north of the Rosslyn Farms neighborhood. There are 18 challenging holes of golf, as well as a swimming pool and several different dining options. Members and guests can dine at the pool, in the bar and in the clubhouse. There are a variety of membership options to join the club. The social aspects of the club are as important to members as the sports.

A short drive west of Rosslyn Farms, Settler’s Cabin Park was named for the 18th century cabin that was excavated on the property. The park still has a very rugged feel and at almost 1,600 acres, is quite a large recreational space. Among the amenities in the park are the very popular wave pool, a dive pool, picnic area, and tennis courts. It also has a trail system for hiking enjoyment.
