Harleysville, PA Houses for Rent

Settled by the Pennsylvania Dutch in the 1700s, Harleysville, Pennsylvania began as a farming community. Over time, this Montgomery County community, located in the Lower Salford Township, grew into a busy suburb.

30 miles north of Philadelphia near I-476, Harleysville still retains some of its rural charm. Several parks include 30-acre Wawa Park and 20-acre Alvin C. Alderfer Park. Evansburg State Park is just 4 miles south and contains 18th century mill remnants that grew up along Skippack Creek.

Heckler Plains Park is home to the Heckler homestead, one of the oldest properties in the area, dating back to the mid-1700s. An annual event called “Hecklerfest” features Colonial crafts, hands-on craft stations, hayrides, and more.

Charming and historic, Harleysville is close enough to busy downtown Philadelphia for commuting and far enough away to enjoy the countryside. Apartment renting in Harleysville puts new residents at the crossroads of the past and the future.
