In total, Lincoln Place encompasses more than one and one-quarter square miles and is home to over 3,630 residents who are fairly affluent by city standards. This community is predominately residential, consisting mostly of single-family homes, and representing the best of suburban living in the city. It is just minutes from the downtown area, yet surrounded by greenways, woods and natural areas. Two small parks, Lincoln Place Parklet and McBride Park, are situated within neighborhood bounds, as is a bowling alley for family entertainment. A community ballpark is situated just outside the neighborhood bounds on the south.

Many shopping, dining, and entertainment options are available in the immediate area, thanks to a few large shopping centers located a few miles to the south. The Sandcastle Waterpark is a popular family destination within a few minutes of Lincoln Place.
