Bluff Neighborhood

Formerly going by the name of Soho, the Bluff neighborhood is located in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and encompasses the zip code area of 15219. A residential neighborhood where architecturally stunning brick row houses are prevalent, residents are a diverse group ranging from college students, professionals and seasoned locals. Fifth Avenue borders the Bluff community to the north, Birmingham Bridge to the east, Second Avenue to the south and Liberty Bridge to the west.

Students in the Bluff neighborhood may attend Miller Elementary School, Milliones Middle School and City Charter High School. Duquesne University is located within the Bluff neighborhood and has notable alumni such as Art Rooney, the founder and former owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. The University of Pittsburgh is also close by and has notable alumni, such as the star of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, Fred Rogers.

The Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field, a multi-use facility, is a two-minute ride from the Bluff neighborhood and hosts lacrosse and soccer teams, as well as the Duquesne University Dukes football team. Schenley Park is just a six-minute ride away and features the Bob O’Connor Golf Course, offering a public golfing as well as a disc golf course. Schenley Park also features Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Schenley Oval Sportsplex, Café and Visitor Center.

The Bluff neighborhood is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and businesses. Popular attractions are also near, such as Just Ducky Tours, offering amphibious vehicle land and water tours of Pittsburgh. Segway in Paradise Tours are just seven minutes away and feature a unique way to traverse the city of Pittsburgh, offering guided Segway tours.

A diverse and upcoming neighborhood, Bluff has many features that offer convenience to residents, with its close proximity to many amenities and popular attractions.
