Cedar Hill, TX Apartments for Rent

Sixteen miles from Dallas on the shores of Joe Pool Lake, Cedar Hill is a beautiful Texas location. Joe Pool Lake is a popular destination for those living in the DFW metroplex, with plenty of boating, jet skiing, and fishing. Cedar Hill State Park, one of the many parks around the lake, is a 1,826-acre facility that offers camping, picnicking, hiking, and mountain biking. It contains a fishing barge, a marina, and the Penn Farm Agricultural Center.

Another beautiful spot in this lovely city is Dogwood Canyon. A natural area with flowering dogwoods and a wide variety of birds — many rare and endangered — Dogwood Canyon is a natural oasis in one of the busiest metro areas in Texas. The new Audubon Center will open this year and will feature a visitor’s center and an education center.

Downtown Cedar Hill is a great place to shop. With its historic district and Old Town Corridors, this unique, mixed-use area contains homes, attractions, shops, quaint boutiques, restaurants, and antique stores.

A rapidly growing city, Cedar Hill has several new shopping centers, an outdoor mall, theaters, and the Plaza at Cedar Hill, a large retail center containing popular stores such as Old Navy, Pier One, and Hobby Lobby. For an unusual dining experience, the Boxcar Club is a restaurant made out of an old railroad box car.

Whether you spend your weekend fishing at Joe Pool Lake, antiquing in downtown, watching for the rare black-chinned hummingbird in Dogwood Canyon, or driving into Dallas to visit a museum, an apartment in Cedar Hill allows you to enjoy your favorite pastime — or find some new ones.
