Apartment C is fully furnished and fresh to the market. It is perfect for professionals or someone who wants the Charleston experience before a long-term commitment to living in Charleston. You can walk anywhere, but parking is provided. The lease is negotiable. It is at least one month (30 days), with longer terms available. With a 30-day lease, you are not required to be in residence for 30 days. Apt C is located on the 2nd floor of the main house of 82 Rutledge Avenue in Harleston Village and was architecturally renovated and tastefully decorated to reflect Charleston's cultural heritage. One can easily walk to most of what Charleston offers. The apartment is light-filled, has tall ceilings and windows, and overlooks the magnificent garden. The kitchen has modern, well-maintained appliances, a separate mahogany kitchen table, marble countertops, a gas range/electric oven, and modern but appropriate cabinetry. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, plates, glassware, and other cooking "necessities." In this area, there is a washing machine and a separate dryer. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and is fully furnished with a chest of drawers, and all linens are provided. A separate walk-in closet/storage area is between the master bedroom and bathroom. Within this area are closets for hanging clothes, abundant cabinets, and open space for luggage storage. The bathroom is modern and appropriate for the setting a contemporary shower tub. There are towels and other amenities provided. The large living room is fully furnished with period furniture and artwork. The" TV" has complementary cable service. The living room leads to the back porch, which overlooks the gardens. The back porch has a table and chairs for your enjoyment. Hardwood floors are located throughout the unit and ceiling fans are in the larger rooms. Complementary 5G wifi is provided. Your personal app can control the modern high-efficiency HVAC system. All electrical outlets are modern and up to code. Many rooms have USB jacks. Refresh housekeeping is available. There are 2 separate entrances, the rear spiral staircase and the north exterior door, with an interior stairwell with several landings. There are steps to the 2nd floor with several landings. The professionally maintained gardens and the old English brick patio are for your enjoyment. Bicycle storage is available on the ground level. The parking lot at 82 Rutledge is restricted to sedans and small SUVs. Must be approved by management (Can NOT accommodate Escalades, F150's, Hummers, etc. due to logistics). In addition to the relatively standard lease, additional leasing terms ensure your "quiet enjoyment" of your unit. The owner-manager is a Charleston native, and the resident manager on the first floor. The Internet & water are complementary utilities (electricity and gas are not provided). The unit has a modern heating (gas) and air conditioning system. We love animals, but we cannot accommodate pets due to many other circumstances. Due to architectural restrictions, individuals with mobility issues may find the steps a challenge.
