Pettigru Street Area Neighborhood

The historic Pettigru Street Area of Greenville, South Carolina, features architecture dating back to the 19th century. Tree-lined streets give way to flower gardens of all colors and scents. East North Street runs through the neighborhood, which is bounded by East Washington Street, North Church Road, and East Park Avenue, which runs into Laurens Road.

Greenville Zoo begins at the southern edge of the community. Residents in this section can easily walk to the zoo, but it is only a short drive from the farthest point. It is a great place to spend a few leisurely hours with the family. Falls Park on the Reely River has something to offer in all seasons of the year. There are scenic lookouts and two amphitheaters offering various types of entertainment for all ages.

Cleveland Park, which is adjacent to the zoo, offers something for everyone. Visitors can take a brisk walk along a trail or sit and relax in the gardens. Main Street resembles the streets of a previous era, with its small shops and dining venues. Part of the enjoyment of living here is meeting friends and neighbors out for a stroll on the weekend or in the evening.

With its location in the downtown area of Greenville, the community offers residents the easy convenience of living near malls and other services throughout the city. It is also a convenient place to live for commuters to various parts of the city.
