Percy Priest Meadows is bounded by Anderson Road on the north and Forest Pointe Place, Calais Court, and Hamilton Church Road on the south. Its western boundary extends past Kinwood Drive and Forest View Drive, and on the east it falls short of LuAnn Drive and Roundwood Forest Lane. Primarily residential, this large neighborhood consists of several hundred single-family homes. The homes here are well-maintained and the lots are for the most part lush and well-shaded. Area communities include Forest Cove and Cherry Hills.
For local shopping, residents of Percy Priest Meadows are just a short drive east of the Priest Lake Plaza Shopping Center, located along the nearby highways. Additional shopping and entertainment options can be found a few miles to the southwest, in Hickory Hollows. The Hickory Hollows Mall, anchored by a Sears and Macy’s, is one of the most prominent shopping centers in the city. Rounding out the options here are at least 100 specialty stores and several dining options.
Significant attractions near the Percy Priest Meadows community include the Nashville International Airport to the northwest and the J. Percy Priest Reservoir to the northeast. The latter is the community’s namesake and one of the most prominent outdoor attractions near Nashville. This large body of water is used for boating, fishing, and swimming, offering dozens of natural areas and parks for hiking, camping, nature viewing, backpacking, picnicking, and more.
