One of the most significant attractions near Summerfield Village is the J. Percy Priest Reservoir, accessible just a few miles to the northeast. This large body of water is used for fishing, boating, and swimming, and it is surrounded by at least one dozen parks, natural areas, and recreation areas, include the Long Hunter State Park. Residents utilize these recreation areas for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnicking, and nature viewing, among other activities.

Another significant attraction near Summerfield Village is the Nashville International Airport, located within 10 minutes to the north, easily accessible via the nearby highways.
