Whispering Hills Neighborhood

Southeast of Nashville, Tennessee is the semi-rural neighborhood of Whispering Hills. The homes are small to medium-sized ranch style affairs on winding roads. Many of the backyards are heavily wooded. Whispering Hills is convenient to Interstate 85 to the west and Interstate 24 to the east. Huntington Park Manor, Keystone Farms and Players Club of Brentwood are apartment complexes that are within .2 mile from Whispering Hills.

Some of the schools nearby include Father Ryan High School, St. Clement Coptic Orthodox, McMurray Middle School and Whispering Hills Christian Academy.

Nearby Bar-B-Cutie has won numerous awards including “Best Lunch,” “Best BBQ” and “Most Family Friendly Restaurant.” The restaurant has been featured on Rachel Ray’s show and was also featured in Country singer Alan Jackson’s music video “Hard Hat and a Hammer.” Renaissance Nashville Hotel, La Quinta Inn Nashville South, and Union Station are among the hotels nearby to Whispering Hills.

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel is one of the premier resort hotels in the world and is ranked as the world’s ninth largest. The Opryland has an indoor man-made river with a waterfall and a 9 acre indoor park featuring walking paths through lush vegetation. Amidst all of this are five restaurants and a myriad of bars and shops.

The centerpiece attraction in Centennial Park is the Parthenon, which is a full-scale replica of the one in Athens, Greece. Complete with a 42 foot replica statue of the Greek goddess Athena, the Parthenon is also Nashville’s Art Museum featuring paintings from American artists of the 19th and 20th centuries.
