The murder mystery trains are also popular and sell out quickly.

Bull Creek District Park and Bull Creek Greenbelt, dog-friendly parks in the area, both offer swimming, hiking, and picnicking areas.

Nearby, Lake Travis is a gem among Texas lakes. Its clear, aquamarine water and endless recreational activities, make the lake a prime destination summer resort for outdoor enthusiasts, from around the state and country. Volente Beach Waterpark is located on the shores of the lake and features a restaurant and a bar.

The most popular shopping destination in the area is The Arboretum. This open-air mall offers endless upscale retail and dining options.
