Crowley, TX Apartments for Rent

Drive roughly 15 miles south of Fort Worth and you’ll discover the quiet suburban community of Crowley. Conveniently located, Crowley is about 23 miles southwest of Arlington and roughly 47 miles southwest of Dallas, giving Crowley residents access to the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

Crowley began as a small farming settlement in 1848. When the railroad came through the area, the rural community began to grow – especially after a station depot was built in 1885. In 1951, Crowley incorporated into a town, and finally became a city in 1972.

And while the nearby metros offer everything from shopping and restaurants to museums, theaters, and nightlife, there’s plenty to do in Crowley, as well. The city hosts several annual events, including the annual Celebration of Freedom festival that occurs around the Fourth of July and includes a baby contest and a parade. Other events include a spring concert series and holiday celebrations.

After you’ve selected your Crowley apartment to rent, you’ll have access to great parks, including Bicentennial Park, which has playgrounds, pavilions, and a splash pad. The Dionne Bagsby-All Sports Complex features a walking track, ball fields, and playgrounds.

Benbrook Lake is less than 10 miles west of Crowley. Lakefront parks include Rocky Creek Park, a great place for boating, fishing, and swimming. The park includes hiking and horseback riding trails, a campground, boat ramps, and picnic areas with grills. Less than a mile from the park you’ll find a bait shop, horse stalls, a fishing dock, concessions, and boat storage.
